What is an Ambassador?
Ambassadors are volunteers and donors who are passionate about the ministry of Midwest Mission, and want to see the mission furthered. They intentionally share about Midwest Mission with their local communities, using provided information and materials.
What does an Ambassador do?
Ambassadors do a variety of things that help spread the word about Midwest Mission. There is no "one-size-fits-all appr" approach to being an Ambassador. They share about Midwest Mission in whatever way is comfortable for htem.

A few examples of how people participate:

Reaching out to businesses/corporations about donating items

Making phone calls to or visiting fire departments to get more donated fire gear and equipment

Making phone calls to or visiting nursing homes, hospitals, and clinics to get more donated medical supplies

Spreading the word at their local church (speaking from stage or sharing with small groups or individuals)

Sharing with other local churches

Talking with family, friends, and coworkers about Midwest Mission

Helping at a Midwest Mission Event near them

Being at a Midwest Mission display table

Speaking at clubs or civic groups
The ways are endless! The point is to spread the word about Midwest Mission as much as possible.

And, we equip Ambassadors to do just that.
How do Ambassadors know what to say?
Each Ambassador receives an in-depth Ambassador Guide that educates them on all things Midwest Mission. From stories about Kits, to how processes work, the Guide helps Ambassadors feel confident in answering questions that may come their way.

They also have access to flyers, a slideshow, promotional material, and early access to new updates!

Ambassadors have a monthly zoom meeting — a time to ask questions, hear about Midwest Mission's updates, and to share stories about what they've recently been doing.
How do I become an Ambassador?
First, fill out this Ambassador Interest Form.

Then, we will reach out to schedule a time to meet (zoom, phone, or in-person) about the responsibilies of an Ambassador, how to report information, and any questions you may have.
