Because of your generosity, we were able to purchase the building we had been leasing for Midwest Mission Iowa!

 

Greene County Development Committee generously reduced the price of the building to $250,000. In October 2025, we were officially able to call the building ours.

Why Purchase the Building?

We decided to purchase the Midwest Mission Iowa building so that monthly lease costs could go towards serving more people around the world and around the corner. 

​

It was also important to purchase the building so we could explore future expansion and renovation projects.

​

Since 2023 when we launched Midwest Mission Iowa, it has just continued to grow! Now, two to three semi loads of donated supplies are driven to Midwest Mission in Illinois every month, volunteer groups and individuals come and serve, and many Mission Events are hosted around the Iowa area!

In order to have more space for people to serve and for donations to come in, and to ultimately meet more needs of people around the world and around the corner, we need to expand the building.

Our Dream:

- A Volunteer and Donation Center connected to the existing building

- A second loading dock

- A better space for donation drop-off and pick-ups
