Welcome to the Hive! This five-session Midwest Mission VBS curriculum was created in partnership with pastors Angela Cunigan, Heather Dorr, and Kasey Vogel to equip churches in inviting kids to discover their God-given role in bringing hope and healing to a broken world. Rooted in the belief that God loves and cares for all people, this curriculum empowers children to act on that love through kind words, generous giving, and a heart for service.
The Curriculum
This curriculum was crafted to complement Midwest Mission's work in a meaningful way. Inside, you'll find a full range of activities — opening skits, Bible storytime, crafts, games, snacks, a science station, music, coloring pages, and closing conversations — all designed to engage kids and point them toward the heart of mission work.

We know every group is different, so feel free to use what serves you best. Whether you spread these resources across a year of Sunday school, build a classic VBS week around them, or save a few activities for a Winter or Spring Break camp, this curriculum is made to meet you where you are. Pick, choose, and make it yours.

This curriculum is yours, completely free. If you'd like to support the work behind it, consider making a donation to Midwest Mission!
